Elk Run Handwovens is located in beautiful rural Southwestern Wisconsin. My studio is located in a self-built, off-grid log cabin, where the natural surroundings continue to inspire, enthuse and encourage.  

 I discovered my passion for weaving during a chance stop at a nearby weaving studio and have been addicted to the craft ever since. 

My work is carefully hand woven on one of my three looms in a variety of colors and lengths to fit most needs.  I offer original, one-of-a-kind cotton, Icelandic wool, blue jean and keepsake rugs, place mats, chenille scarves and other hand woven items.  Custom orders are also welcome, designed to meet your unique requirements.   My choice of fibers ensures that my work is easy care and long lasting.  (All rugs are machine washable [gentle cycle].  To dry, rugs should be hung or laid flat to preserve the integrity of the warp threads.)
